Mission Statement

Mission Statement

Empowered by the love of God in Christ, St. Mark’s Lutheran School prepares students to be lifelong learners and servant leaders.

  1. We believe parents are the first and primary teachers of their children.

  2. We believe effective education develops the whole person – spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.

  3. We believe the Word of God and prayer spiritually energize and enrich the entire community.

  4. We believe students learn at different rates and in different ways.

  5. We believe learning how to learn provides the necessary framework for success throughout the students’ academic and professional lives.

  6. We believe self-esteem is directly related to success.

  7. We believe students have a right to a safe, caring, and productive environment.

  8. We believe students develop responsible citizenship through the guidance of the school and community.

  9. We believe interaction with others teaches sensitivity and appreciation.
